Zachary Troy Schrah

Zachary Troy Schrah age 16, of Plano, Texas, passed away on April 2, 2009. He was born on February 10, 1993 in Garland, Texas to Troy and Karen (Granger) Schrah. Zachary grew up in Plano and attended Clark High School. He was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. One of Zachary's greatest passions in life was his love for the outdoors. Zac enjoyed deer hunting, riding four wheelers and fishing at Papaw Ray's farm. Every year Zac, his father, and grandfather (Buddy) made a trip to Del Rio, Texas to bass fish at Zac's favorite place, Lake Amistad. Zac's last trip to Lake Amistad was last month where he spent an entire week with his two favorite fishing buddies. Zac out fished his father every day and ended the trip with a 10 lb bass which was the largest fish caught all week. Zac was smiling from ear to ear. He is survived by his parents, Troy and Karen Schrah and sister, Sarah Schrah all of Plano, Texas; grandparents, Ray and Gloria Schrah of Boswell, Oklahoma and Terry and Margy Granger of Plano, Texas; great-grandparents, Gladys Schrah of Plano, Texas, Thresa Granger of Richardson, Texas and Margaret Mary Womack of Dallas, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2009 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Plano, Texas with Father Clifford Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 5, 2009, with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas.
