Yolanda Ramirez of Plano, Texas, passed away on July 16, 2015 at the age of 73. She was born June 14, 1942 in Toluca, Mexico to Esteban and Elena (Del Rio) Ramirez. Yolanda married Alfredo Iglesias in Mexico on July 4, 1959. She lived on a Mexican plantation and later on a farm. Yolanda moved to Mexico City to provide a better life for her children. Always following her children, she moved to Dallas, Texas leaving everything behind to be with her beloved children. Yolanda was a very generous woman, always helping people in need with a smile, a meal, a nice word or belongings. She was a successful mother and grandmother for life. Yolanda dedicated all of her life and soul to her beloved children and grandchildren. She was an example of love and giving.
Yolanda is survived by her son, Alfredo Iglesias, Jr.; daughters, Olga Iglesias, Yolanda Iglesias and Lourdes Iglesias; son-in-laws, Roberto Ochoa and Marco Diaz, Sr., granddaughters, Angelica Ochoa, Priscilla Diaz and Valeria Diaz; grandsons, Marco Diaz, Jr., Ricardo Ochoa, Roberto Ochoa, Omar Diaz all of Allen, Texas, Daniel Golcman-Iglesias, Yosi Golcman-Iglesias, Corey Golcman-Iglesias all of Plano, Texas; brother, Fernando Ramirez; sisters, Rosa Ma Ramirez and Carmen Ramirez all of Toluca, Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home chapel in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening July 17, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
