Yestrada Marie Watkins, of Celina, Texas, passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 58. She was born to loving parents Emory Martin and Lee (Height) Martin on June 3, 1966, in McKinney, Texas.
Yestrada married the love of her life, Bobby Glenn Watkins, on October 10, 1981, in Plano, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with love, happiness, and devotion.
Yestrada is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Glenn Watkins of Celina, Texas; her daughter, Brandy Smith and husband David of Celina, Texas; her son, Tyler Watkins and wife Megen of Winnsboro, Texas; and her cherished grandchildren, Jayden, Caroline, Katie, Kyler, and Ashtyn. She is also survived by her mother, Lee Kennedy; her sisters, Tomorrow, Tada, Jessica-Ada “Squeaky,” and Little Lee; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Yestrada always had a big smile and open arms to anyone she met. A truly beautiful person inside and out. She cherished every moment with family and friends. Her favorite place was anywhere with water and sand, whether lake or ocean.
Yestrada was preceded in death by her father, Emory Martin, and her stepfather, Steve Kennedy.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
