Xavier Krystopher Westfield was born on September 28, 2001 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He gained his eternal wings on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. His smile could move mountains, his laugh was contagious, but it was his unconditional love and drive that will remain in our hearts forever.
Xavier and his mother moved to Texas where he sparked an interest in playing sports. His drive and dedication allowed him to excel not only in basketball, but also in football, soccer, baseball, and track and field. In December 2004, Xavier was diagnosed with Juvenile Type 1 Diabetes. He never once allowed the disease to stopped him from being great. Never asked for pity nor wanted to be treated any differently from his beloved peers. In middle school, Xavier was the starting quarterback and led his football team to district two consecutive years, winning district for the Roach Rams. He was awarded Football Athlete of the Year for his dedication and leadership qualities. He later earned a spot on the varsity basketball team at Heritage High School as a Sophomore and was awarded the Fighting Heart Award. Upon his senior year, Xavier was accepted to iSchool High of Lewisville – Entrepreneurial studies and continued his basketball dreams. The Cougars won state that season and Xavier prevailed despite an unfortunate knee injury.
Xavier was more than an athlete, he was an achievement earning scholar. As an AP Honor Roll student and part of the National Honor Society, Xavier completed Summer Internships with the City of Plano Mayor’s Office and Plano Boys and Girls Club. He worked as a soccer referee for PSA and was a faithful worker at Top Golf and Walmart before heading to TSU (Houston, TX) for college. He took pride in building his YouTube platform @zaebooomin and reached a milestone with subscribers and likes.
He is proceeded in death by his grandfather, George Westfield.
Xavier is survived by his mother, Krystal Davis and father, Christopher Westfield; bonus father, Melvin Price III; brothers, Jaxson Davis, Jaden Price, and Myron Bennett Jr.; sisters, Abigail Marie Baxter and Radiance Bennett; grandparents, Leon Sr. and Sharon Davis, Gwen Williams, and LaNey Jones; uncles, Leon Davis Jr. and Daryl Davis; aunts, Sheila Davis, Carol Davis, D’Juana Jackson-Davis, and Ashley Warren; The Price Family, and Fur Brother Rocky; a host of other relatives and friends; and plethora of loving coaches, trainers, and mentors.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 4, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening, February 3, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
The family would like to request for all attendees to the visitation and funeral service to wear a face covering.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 7, 2022 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.
