Mrs. WyNona Taylor, age 81, of Plano, Texas passed away February 25, 2006, at her home. She was born August 16, 1924, in Post, Texas to LeRoy and Mattie Sims. She grew up on a ranch in west Texas. On June 25, 1946, she married Frank Taylor, Jr. in Lubbock, Texas. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. She was a devoted wife and mother, a huge fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, and the love of dogs held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her daughters, Shari Tant and husband Leon of Atlanta, Georgia and Shauna Kaufman and husband, Steve of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Kimberly Perez and husband Michael, Kerry Knight, Lyric Muir and husband, R.T., and Kori Kaufman; and great grandchildren, Isabella and Jack Perez. Her parents; a sister, LaNelle Watson; and her husband, who passed away on April 3, 1999, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Randy Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
