In 1995, Ben moved to Houston for work, and during those years, he made many lifelong friends and continued to flourish in the car business. The last 14 years Ben was General Manager and Partner at Momentum Jaguar Land Rover Volvo and Porsche in Houston, a Sonic Automotive dealership, where he was the recipient of many awards and honors. Ben, and his wife, Vivian enjoyed fabulous trips around the globe courtesy of the vendors he represented. Ben was also a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Houston and an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Ben is survived by his parents, his wife, Vivian, his son, Matthew Dugger of McKinney, his daughter, Katherine Wells, and son-in-law, Richard, of McKinney, and his brother, William Dugger, and sister-in-law, Susan, of Houston. He is also survived by his step-daughter, Worth Anne Herrell, and husband, Aaron, of Plano and step-daughter, Meredith Stites, of Austin. He was the proud grandfather of 5 grandsons, Brooks, Davis, and Hayes Wells and Mack and Houston Herrell. And, last but not least, Ben is survived by his fur babies, Charlie and Candy, whom he adored, and who never left his side.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Baylor hospital, specifically 16 Roberts and 3 Jonsson, for their wonderful care and compassion. And, they especially would like to recognize Dr. Ranjeeta Bahirwani and her staff for the unsurpassed care.
