Winston Andrew Collier, aged 66, of Frisco, TX, passed away March 31, 2026. He was born October 16, 1959, to James and Patricia (Grace) Collier, in Louisville, KY.
Winston married the love of his life, Diana Moyar, December 22, 1984, in Dothan, AL, and from this union came a beautiful son, Carl.
Winston was a devoted Catholic and he and Diana were members of the St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco for many years. He was a proud military man, serving in the US Army from 1982 to 1986 where he was a “98 Charlie” and worked as an Electronic Warfare Signals Intelligence Analyst. He went on to retire from the military as an E5. But his true calling was nursing. Winston graduated from Collin College with his BSN and never looked back.
He loved to play war games and loved woodworking, but his favorite pastime was working with computers in any way he could get them.
Above all, he was a wonderfully devoted Husband and Father, and loving parent to the families six cockatiels: Scruffy, Baby Girl, Froggy, Lucky, Squeaker, and Blondie, who will miss him dearly.
Winston is survived by his loving Wife of 41 years, Diana Collier of Frisco, TX; His son Carl Collier of Frisco, TX; Brothers: Reid Collier of Colorado and Joel Collier of North Carolina; and his Mother, Patricia Collier of Virginia, along with a host of other family and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his Father, James Collier, and his brother, Benjamin Collier.
The family will receive friends during a Visitation, Thursday April 23, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM, at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Frisco Funeral Home Chapel, 8520 Main St, Frisco, TX, 75033. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11 AM at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Pkwy, Frisco, TX, 75033. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Dr, Frisco, TX, 75033.
