Wilma Jo Davis of McKinney, Texas passed away on October 13, 2021. She was born on November 15, 1935 to Joseph Travis and Odell (Walters) Ashley in McKinney, Texas. Wilma graduated from McKinney Boyd High School in 1954. She was involved in her children’s school activities as a PTA room mother, campfire leader and FFA supporter. Wilma worked as a customer service representative in the insurance industry for many years. She was a longtime member of Waddill Street Baptist Church.
Wilma is survived by her daughter, Pam Davis of McKinney, Texas; son, Gary “Hangin” Davis and wife, Laurie of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Blake Wooldridge and fiancé, Katelyn Pierce of Denton, Texas, Brooke Wooldridge and Teddy Parks, Jr. of Princeton, Texas; great-grandchildren, Theodore Parks, III and Tatum Parks; and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, J.T. Ashley, Jr.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 18, 2021 at Ridgeview Memorial Park Pavillion, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
