William Lawrence

June 4, 1939 - October 6, 2020

William Lawrence of Dallas, Texas, went to be with his Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 6, 2020 at the age of 81. He was born to Puthenveettil Varuthukutty Pappu and Plemena Pappu Naduparampil on June 4, 1939 in Vypin Island, India. Our father was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His love for God was matched by his service for the Lord.

William is survived by daughters, Smiley King and husband, Herman King, Gladish Lawrence, Glacy Lawrence and Joyce Parekh and husband, Harshil Parekh; grandchildren, Bless King, Jewel King, Micah King, Armaan Parekh, and Aarav Parekh; his late beloved wife, Rosely Lawrence; siblings, late George Puthenveettil, Chithamma Joy, Pauly Thomas, Johnson Puthenveettil, Xavier Puthenveettil, Timothy Pappu, Harris Pappu and Sheela Isaac (Puthenveettil) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at on William’s obituary page by clicking on the following link: After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor William and show their support to his family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite. livestream

To my dear cousins, Herman,Hirshal and all the children. We grieve with you for your loss of your dad and Appachan My uncle was a great man, I loved him dearly. I have a lot of wonderful memories with him when I was a child which I will always cherish. May God give you peace and comfort during these tough days and what is ahead. We love you all very much.
