William Everett (Bill) Daniel of Farmersville, Texas passed away Saturday morning in Farmersville. He was born October 20, 1936 in Simms, Texas the son of Mayo and Vera May Daniel.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Farmersville, Texas and retired owner and operator of Sunshine Design Floral Design and Garden Center for many years along with his wife Glenda who preceded him in death in 2020.
Bill was a graduate of East Texas Teachers College and received a Master’s degree from East Texas State University in Commerce. Bill served as a director for the Caddo Basin Water District for 40 years.
He married Glenda Johnson January 25, 1958 in Merit, Texas. Bill is survived by his children, Cynthia Tarrant, Eddy Daniel and wife Helen, and Janet Lynn all of Farmersville. Bill is also survived by 4 Grandchildren: Dustin Tarrant, Harley Lynn, Courtney Aston and husband Matthew, Chase Daniel and wife Lauren. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 brother James Daniel of Corpus Christi, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his wife Glenda, brother, Charles Daniel and sister Patsy Currin.
A Visitation will be from 6-8P.M. Monday, May 23, 2022 held at the First Baptist Church Gymnasium in Farmersville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the First Baptist Church in Farmersville with Dr. Bart Barber and Rev. Tracy Odneal officiating. Interment will be in the I.O.O. F. Cemetery.
