William Alton Taylor, age 92, of Allen, Texas passed away May 28, 2008. He was born May 30, 1915 in Allen, Texas to W. Rulie and Bertha Lynn Taylor. On February 22, 1939 he married Frances Welch in McKinney, Texas. Alton proudly served in the United States Army Air Corps. and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his sons, Brent Taylor and wife, Pam of Longview, Texas, Billy Taylor and wife, Teresa of Highland Village, Texas; grandchildren, Kiley Tyler and husband, Mark of Longview, Texas; Rachel Taylor of Highland Village, Texas; great-grandchildren, Harrison Taylor of Longview, Texas and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Allen Cemetery, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service.
