William Charles Murley, age 72, of Princeton, Texas passed away June 11, 2004, in McKinney, Texas. He was born on September 15, 1931, in Kaufman, Texas to William Albert and Orbie Bessie (Bradford) Murley. On August 16, 1956, he married Drucella Harris in McKinney. Mr. Murley served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from Bee Builders Supply in Plano and was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his son, Rickie Leon Evans and wife, Renda of Greenville, Texas; daughters, Kathy Diane Askew and husband, Louie and Barbara Dru Murley Purser and husband, Frank all of Princeton; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Bonnie Woody also of Princeton. He was preceded in death by his wife; brother, James Murley; and his parents. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 14, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Roger Berghauser and Rev. Mike Frazier officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Sunday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
