Mr. William Thomas (Bill) Gant, age 77, of Plano, Texas passed away on February 16, 2005, in Plano. He was born on October 1,1927 in Tom Bean, Texas to Ernest Haskell and Bernice W. (Francis) Gant. Mr. Gant served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of WWII. He graduated from A&M Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marilyn Gant of Lewisville, Texas; daughters, Deborah Johnson and husband, Chuck of Ft. Worth, Texas, Joyce Davis and husband, Gordon of Lubbock, Texas and Sharon Eichhorst and husband, Jerry of Abilene, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda, Kayla and Tanya Eichhorst, Boyce Moore and Alex and Brian Johnson; and special friend, Louise Vestal of Allen, Texas. Mr. Gant was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday February 18, 2005 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.
