William A. Greensage

William A. Greensage, age 53, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022. He was born on September 8, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, to Jacqueline Sue (Durham) and Theodore Bernard Greensage.  Will was a proud patriot who served his country in the United States Navy and he later worked as a laser engineer in the ophthalmology industry.  Will married Tricia Danette Owens in Granite Shoals, Texas, on June 11, 2010. 

He was a devout Christian, who loved the outdoors.  Some of his hobbies included hunting and fishing with his son, Coda, and friends.  He also enjoyed playing video games with his son, and using his hands to design and build.  He spent a lot of time mentoring his daughter, Riley, through college.  He was thankful for his Second Amendment rights and freedoms to which he helped defend.  Will was a world traveler where he enjoyed many cultures.  No matter where he was, who he was with, or what he was doing, Will was always thinking of his adoring family.  He was a great husband, father, and friend to many.  Will was dearly loved and he will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Will is survived by his beloved wife, Danette Greensage of Frisco; his children, Alexus Riley Greensage of McKinney and William Coda Greensage of Frisco; his mother, Jackie Greensage of The Colony; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Danny and Pat Owens of Wichita Falls; his brother-in-law and his wife, David and Charlotte Owens of Midlothian; his nephew, Jaxon Owens of Wichita Falls; as well as numerous life long friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ted Greensage, and Lucretia “Aunt Lucy” Reese.

A Celebration of Life will be held at One Hope Church, 5088 Baxter Well Road, McKinney, Texas, on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Derek Miller.
