Mr. William J. Smith, age 55 of Plano, Texas passed away on January 27, 2006 in Plano. He was born on July 2, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York to Edward J. and Dolores (Dillon) Smith. He married Eileen McQuillan on January 14, 1973 in Hauppauge, New York. Mr. Smith was a collector in banking and was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Smith of Plano, Texas; children, Cathaleen Graham and husband, Zel of Allen, Texas, Joseph Smith of Plano, Texas and Michael Smith also of Plano; grandsons, Zalen Graham and Brycen Graham both of Allen, Texas; parents, Edward and Dolores Smith of Hauppauge, New York; brother Gary Smith and wife, Connie of Sayville, New York; sister, Donna Sieczkowski and husband, Tad of Hauppauge, New York; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his son, Brian Smith. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2006 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Fr. Henry Petter officiating.
