IN LOVING MEMORY

Wendy Emerson DiDomizio

May 14 1970 - Apr 13 2020

Wendy Darlene (Emerson) Di Domizio, age 49, of Frisco, Texas, passed away Monday, April 13, 2020.  She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on May 14, 1970, to Gloria (Gardner) Emerson and Dr. Richard J. Emerson.

Wendy utilized her many skills as a wonderful mother and homemaker and cherished her role as both a "Cheer Mom" and a "Hockey Mom."  She coached her daughter Taryn's cheer team for several years and was ever-present at her practices, competitions and events.  Likewise, Wendy delighted in rooting for her son Roman at his hockey games and tournaments.  Wendy encouraged her children to succeed in sports but to always have fun while doing so.  She was passionate about being a mom and looked forward every day to taking her children to and from school and participating in their activities.

Prior to becoming a full-time homemaker, Wendy was a successful aesthetician.  She loved helping people take care of their skin, and her clients were very loyal to her.  She also loved the ocean and its wildlife, especially dolphins.  She appreciated their grace and beauty and even seemed to connect with them at some level.  Wendy liked to relax by practicing aromatherapy, reading and enjoying the jacuzzi.

Wendy's loved ones knew her to be beautiful, both inside and out.  She had a huge heart, an amazing smile, and contagious laugh.  She would go out of her way to welcome guests and engage them in social settings.  She was a perceptive listener and conversation partner and always made people feel they had something interesting to say.

Wendy is survived by her children, Taryn and Roman Di Domizio; her mother, Gloria Emerson; her father, Dr. Richard J. Emerson; her sister, Misti Emerson; her half-brother, Matthew Emerson (Natalie); her half-brother, Patrick Emerson; the father of her children, Robert Di Domizio; as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Mary L. Emerson, and her sister, Dawn LoBianco.  She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A private inurnment at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco will be held on April 24, 2020. A Memorial Service to celebrate Wendy’s life will be held at a later date.
