Wendell Jay Rominger

Wendell Jay Rominger of Howe, Texas, passed away on January 9, 2019, at the age of 82.  He was born on April 6, 1936 to Arnie and Mary (Seigle) Rominger in Farmersville, Texas.  Wendell went to school in McKinney.  After graduating, he served in the United States Navy for four years.  Wendell married Elizabeth Louise Clements on February 19, 1965 in McKinney, Texas.  He spent most of his working career at Texas Instruments.  Wendell and Elizabeth owned Crossroads Restaurant in Howe.  They later retired and moved to Las Vegas where Wendell was a Blackjack dealer.

Wendell is survived by his children, Richard Wendell Rominger of Howe, Texas, Mark Rominger of Sherman, Texas and David Rominger of Sherman Texas; sister, Geraldine Rominger Stewart; grandson, Jacob Rominger; and many more loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Louise Rominger; parents, Arnie and Mary Rominger; and brothers, Morris Rominger and Bobby Rominger.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Climax, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
