Wendell Larry Frasier, Sr., 82, passed away January 20, 2026, in Sherman, Texas. He was born on February 5, 1943, in Odessa, Texas, to his loving parents John Wendell Frasier and Minnie Sabie (Lee) Frasier.
Wendell proudly served in the United States Navy from 1959-1964 before building a successful career as the owner and operator of WOPAC Construction, Inc., which he ran from 1974 until retiring in 2006.
On February 5, 1977, Wendell married Brenda Houston in Frisco, Texas.
Wendell is survived by his wife, Brenda Frasier, of Tom Bean, Texas; four children: James Wendell Frasier & wife Beth of Lewisville, Texas, Sharon LeeAnn Rosales and husband Robert of Mount Vernon, Texas, Robbie Frasier Leach and husband Adam of Gunter, Texas, and Wendell “Butch” Frasier II of Tom Bean, Texas; sister, Sharon Frasier (James) of Arlington, Texas; two princesses, Shea-lynn Leach McConnell (Preston) and Ryle Leach Mazerolle (Mason), both of Gunter, Texas; one prince, Cade Frasier Leach, also of Gunter, Texas; nine grandchildren; Cristina Nicole Walke, Wendy Lorene Frasier, GiGi Frasier, David Micheal Crawford, Karek Crawford, Dakota Crawford; four great grandchildren, Jordan Tyler Frasier, Jessica Tayler Hall, Cristopher Ryan Walke, Kiesyn Kade McConnell; two great-great grandchildren; next ex-wife, Shirley Gothard; and a host of extended family members and friends, who will miss him dearly and forever cherish his memory.
Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Frasier, and parents-in-law, Jimmie Lou and James Donald Houston, sister Margot Carol Frasier, ex-wife Florence Frasier.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
