Wendell E. Hale

Wendell Eugene Hale, age 87, of Frisco, Texas went to heaven on April 4, 2020 in Plano, Texas. He was born September 24, 1932 in Frisco, Texas to Jessie Benjamin (Alexander) and Lonnie Burns Hale. He married on November 7, 1952 in Lewisville, Texas to Iris Lorraine Inge. Wendell was a member at First Baptist Church in Frisco. Wendell was a barber in Frisco on Main Street in then 1960’s. He established Frisco Used Cars in the 1970’s to present. In 1975 his son David joined him in the car business on Main Street in Frisco which has remained for 58 years. Wendell sponsored little league teams and he participated in Frisco parades and other community activities. Wendell was a life member of Lebanon Masonic Lodge NO. 837.

Wendell is survived by his wife of 67 years, Iris Hale of Frisco, Texas; son, David Hale and his wife Patti Ann of Celina, Texas; two sisters, Nancy Matthews of Kemp, Texas and Agatha Chandler of Frisco, Texas; brother-in-law Monroe Inge of Winnsboro, Texas and sister-in-law Doris Hale of Lewisville, Texas and many nieces and nephews. 

Wendell was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Lonnie Hale; three brothers, Granville “Skeeter” Hale, Billy Jack Hale and Bob Hale. 

A private interment will be held at Ridgeview West Memorial Park. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Scottish Rite Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
