Funeral services for Weldon Macon, age 99 of Leonard, will be held at 2 P.M. Friday at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel with Sam Dilbeck and Rev. Gary Colgrove officiating. Burial will be in the Leonard Cemetery. He died Wednesday at the Leonard Manor. He was born March 20, 1908 in Leonard the son of Thomas Franklin and Martha Ann Hornsby Macon. He married Molly Lou West on March 3, 1925 in Greenville, Texas. He was a member of the Leonard Church of Christ and was a farmer. He is survived by a sister, Oleta Gibson of Farwelll, Texas; eleven nephews and three nieces. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Leonard has charge of the arrangements.
