Wayne D. Dugger

Mr. Wayne D. Dugger, age 71, of Bayfield, Colorado, passed away November 17, 2005, in Bayfield. He was born March 30, 1934, in Farmersville, Texas, to William Warren and Arra Mae (Davis) Dugger. Wayne was born and raised in Farmersville; graduated Farmersville High School in 1951; attended A&M University; taught school in Cleburne, Texas 1960-64; and returned to teach at Farmersville 1964-68. He and his family then moved to Bayfield where he completed 25 years of teaching, continuing then to farm and working for a farm implement company. Wayne was a devout Christian and was an active member of the Church of Christ. All who knew him respected him, admired him and loved him. He is survived by his wife, Janette Dugger of Bayfield, Colorado; sons, Douglas Dugger and wife, Dawn of Bayfield, Colorado, and Mac Dugger of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, D.J., Ben and Ashley Dugger of Bayfield, Colorado; sister, Wilma Mickey and husband, Truman of Durango, Colorado; brothers, Roy Dugger and wife, Margaret of New Braunfels,Texas, and Cecil Dugger and wife, Geneva of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and foster brother, Dink Davidson and wife, Jackie of Princeton, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, November 25, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Mr. Gene Siemens and Mr. Gary Byrne officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Pleasant Grove Cemetery Association c/o Winona Carmen, 1407 W. Lamar Street, McKinney, TX 75069.
