Ward Murray Webb

Ward Murray Webb was born June 4th 1919, in Comanche, Oklahoma. He entered the presence of the Lord on October 14, 2004. He married Ora Carolyn Holt in Harrold, Texas on June 7, 1947. They enjoyed 57 years of marital bliss. Ward was employed by Phillips Petroleum Company as an Operations Superintendent for forty-six years, residing in Borger, Texas until his retirement in 1979. He served in World War II as a Second Lieutenant Navigator on the B-24 Bombers with the 13th Air Force in the Asiatic Pacific Theater of War. He is survived by his wife, Ora Carolyn Webb of McKinney; son, Steven Webb of Harker Heights; sister, Tiny Frazier of DeLeon, Texas; three grandchildren, Amanda and Callie Webb of Seattle, Washington, and Ruston Webb of Boulder, Colorado, and their mother, Shelley Webb of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Craig Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:30-9:00 p.m., Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Officiating as pallbearers will be Jim Holley, Mike Palimisano, David Edwards, Todd Adams, Marshal Partain, Bill Miles, Ben Cunningham and John Fasolino. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Alford, Cliburn Eldridge, Milton Branch, Avery Bemar, Dean Bennett, Morris Penland, and Paul Foster.
