Wanda "Von" Vonceil Gulick

Wanda “Von” Vonceil (Stubbs) Gulick of Parker, Texas passed away on November 7, 2018 at the age of 82.  She was born on May 1, 1936 to Truman and Vivian (Wilton) Stubbs in Fort Worth Texas.  Von married Merle Gulick on January 30, 1978 in Azle, Texas.  She was an elementary teacher in Azle, Texas and Omaha, Nebraska.  Von volunteered at Medical City of Plano for over 13 years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  She was a member at First Baptist Church of Plano. 

Von is survived by her loving husband of forty years, Merle Gulick of Parker, Texas; children, Caryn Weaver and husband, Steve of Sachse, Texas; Jeana Braley of Richardson, Texas and Craig Caldwell and wife, Karen of Alamo, California; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Stubbs and wife, Paula of Haltom City, Texas; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Truman and Vivian Stubbs; and brother, Jerry Lynn Stubbs.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home Chapel.  Entombment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends during a visitation Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

Memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital.
