Wanda Mae Wade of Dallas, Texas formerly of Richardson, Texas passed away January 31, 2020 at the age of 88. She was born on September 3, 1931 to Homer Nelson Webber and Hattie Rhea (Blankenship) Webber in Gassville, Arkansas. Wanda worked as an accountant to which she retired. She was a Past Worthy Matron of The Order of the Eastern Star. Wanda was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She was of the Baptist faith.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Brenda Wade Moore and husband, Dennis of Dallas, Texas; son, Bradford N. Wade and wife, Rita of Mt. Dora, Florida; grandchildren, Matt Wade of Dallas, Texas, Mark Wade of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mary Welborn of Dallas, Texas; great-grandchildren, Suzanna Wade, Emily Wade, Aaron Wade, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Kayley Welborn and Katie Welborn, both of Dallas, Texas; sister, Sue Miller of Denton, Texas; numerous other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Hattie Webber; brothers, Darrell Dean Webber and Dallas Marvin Webber; and sister, Cora Jean Denton.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment is to follow at Rowlett Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
