Wanda Lou Morgan, age 89, of Prosper, Texas passed away on February 13, 2026, in Frisco< Texas. She was born on January 23, 1937, to Iona Amanda (Schroder) and Leonard Sekavec in Elssworth, kansas. Wanda married her sweetheart, John Burl Morgan in Kansas in 1964. Wanda started her career as a 1st grade school teacher. She continued to be a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She is also a breast cancer survivor and a longtime member of the cancer survivor support groups. While living in Plano, Texas she worked in the mayor of Plano’s office and contributed to the growth of Plano.
Wanda is survived by her loving husband, John Morgan of Prosper, Texas; her daughter, Tracy Patrinicola of Prosper, Texas; her brother, Pete Sekavec of Kansas and her two grandchildren Michael (25 years old) and Luke (22 years old).
Wanda was preceded in death by her son, David Morgan; and her parents, Iona and Leonard Sekavec.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Watermere at Frisco, 4220 Cotton Gin Road, Frisco, Texas 75034, on Friday, March 28th, 2026, at 2:00 pm.
