Wanda Jo Beddow

Wanda Jo Beddow of Allen, Texas passed away on June 25, 2021 at the age of 87.  She was born on June 25, 1934 to Earl B. Young and Grace E. (Bryan) Stanley in Renner, Collin County, Texas.  Wanda was a 1952 graduate of Plano High School in Plano, Texas.  She married the late Ollie Oliver Beddow on February 6, 1953 in Carpenter, California and they enjoyed 37 years of marriage before his passing in 1990.  Wanda worked as a Banking Officer for First City Texas Bank for many years.  She was a devoted member and taught a Sunday school class at First Baptist Church in Allen.  She was a loving wife, mother, Nanny, sister, and friend and will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Kimberly R. Sevier and husband, Lonnie Sevier, Jr. of Allen, Texas; grandson, Cody Wayne Sevier and fiancé, Erin Bowden of Allen, Texas; sisters, Peggy Simpson of Lowry Crossing, Texas, Pebba Attaway of Savannah, Texas, Emma Capone of Donaldsonville, Louisiana, Mary Vaughan of Plano, Texas, and Janiece Malzon-Laws of Red Oak, Texas; brother, Curtis Stanley of Anna, Texas; and a host other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Beddow; father, Earl Young; mother, Grace Stanley; daughter, Sandra K. Beddow; and sister, Marjorie Lemon.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
