In September of 1962, Walter married his high school sweetheart Callie Faye Bollin. September 6, 1962 was their special day. Walter was a loving, dedicated husband, excellent father, provider, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His jovial spirit, was one in which he never met a stranger. He kept all situations light with a great one liner to ease the mood.

He will always cherish his friendships. Whether he knew you from school, work, or a casual conversation he remembered the details that made you special.
