Walter Carl Domalske, of McKinney Texas passed away September 16, 2013 at the age of 80. He was born July 26, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, to Walter and Margaret Domalske. Walter Carl married Barbara Cossin in 1959 and they were happily married for 54 years. They had one son, Michael Carl Domalske of Venice, Florida, head golf professional at the Plantation Golf and Country Club, Venice Florida.
Walter Carl is survived by his dear wife, Barbara Domalske of McKinney, Texas; son Michael Carl Domalske of Venice Florida, and his wife Ralene; cousin Ralph Milz and wife Pat of Seneca, South Carolina; Doris Green and husband Tom of Forth Worth; Joan Thomas and husband Bill Thomas of Plano; nephews Wade Thomas and wife Kathy of San Clemente, CA; Brad Thomas of CA, Thomas C Green, Caroline and Bryan Hall.
Walter Carl graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
He followed this with graduation from the University of Michigan with a Masters Degree in School Administration. His training was Education and School Administration. He worked in the Detroit Public Schools, Milford Public Schools, and Manatee County Schools Florida. He retired from Manatee County Schools in Bradenton Florida in 1995 and retired to Clarkdale, Arizona, and then McKinney, Texas in 2004. His retiring position was Director of Personnel of the Manatee County Schools.
He was an avid tennis player in high school and at Wayne State University. He played golf in high school and continued golf in retirement enjoying all his golfing friends. A special characteristic of Walter Carl was his beautiful smile for he always seemed to be smiling. He had a special gift of exuding God's peace and joy within him. It was genuine. He always demonstrated a calm confidence in his relationship with God and people. Especially, he loved his family and friends.
We thank all who celebrate Walter Carl's full life. He was a very special man and one of a kind to those that knew and loved him and he will be greatly missed. He was a very joyous man because he knew the Lord Jesus and he now resides in Heaven.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm., Saturday, September 21, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, in Frisco, Texas.
