IN LOVING MEMORY

Vivian Theresa Cohan

Jul 05 1964 - Dec 18 2023

Vivian Theresa Cohan, born in Torrance, California on July 5, 1964, to Pauline and Charles Hackler, left this world on December 18, 2023, after a heroic fight with leukemia.  Our darling Vivian was an incredibly proud G-ma (she loved her grandchildren more than she loved us, and she would absolutely agree), and the most loving mother, wife, and sister. An avid baker and lover of crafts, she could usually be found in the kitchen or at her sewing machine or Cricut making something for those she loved. She enjoyed game nights with us, where we got a deep look at her twisted sense of humor, a good margarita, and a thrilling crime show. Married to her husband for 38 wonderful years, together they built a beautiful life and raised two daughters of whom she was incredibly proud. What she loved more than her family, though, was her dogs. Her love of her Boston Terriers eclipsed any affection she had for us.  She may have had to leave us, but she is now with her beloved dogs, Piglet, Cupcake, Penny, and Bo. She also has been reunited with her parents, Pauline and Charles, her best friend, Cindy, her brother Henry, and her grandparents (Henry and Jan Lefevbre). Her legacy will continue through her wildly inappropriate family: husband, Steven Cohan, daughters Dawn Cohan and Sara Cohan; grandchildren Jacob Foster and Samuel Foster, and Christopher Chandler.
