Vivian Claire Hart of McKinney, Texas passed away October 26, 2022 at the age 81. She was born July 2, 1941 to Adam Brooks and Yvonne (Maillian) Brooks in New Orleans, Louisiana. Vivian was a graduate of Garland High School. She married the late Kenneth Hart on November 21, 1960 in Garland, Texas and they enjoyed nearly 54 years of marriage before his passing in 2014. Vivian was the owner and operator of Sportsman Glass with her husband in McKinney, Texas for many years. She enjoyed reading, antiquing, and working in the yard. Vivian most enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Vivian will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Hubert and husband, Jeff of McKinney, Texas, Debbie Bishop and husband, Lee, and Kelli Shankle and husband, Mike of McKinney, Texas; grandsons, Mathew Bishop and wife, Ali and Luke Bishop, both of Weatherford, Texas; granddaughter, McKenna Hubert of McKinney, Texas; grandson, Jake Bishop of Weatherford, Texas; granddaughters, Grace Lawson and Libbi Lawson, both of McKinney, Texas; and great grandson, Brady Bishop; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Hart and parents, Adam and Yvonne Brooks.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
