Vittoria Vanda Polce passed away on September 4, 2023, in Allen, Texas at the age of 83. She was born to Carmine and Anna (Leombruni) Troia on May 28, 1940, in Italy.
Vittoria moved from Bagnaturo, Italy to Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania in 1961. She married Delio Polce on July 14, 1962. They made a home in Queens, New York.
Vittoria later moved to Texas to be closer to family. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas, where she was a Eucharistic Minister.
Vittoria enjoyed cooking, traveling, celebrations and entertaining, but most of all she loved spending time with family.
She is survived by her daughters, Patrizia Lombardo (Mimmo) of Allen, Texas and Beatrice Means (David) of Denison, Texas; sons, Eduardo Polce (Dawn) of McKinney, Texas and Adelki Polce (Bess) of Corte Madera, California; grandchildren, David “Scooter” Means (Mallory) of Allen, Texas, Bianca Ward (Zac) of Prosper, Texas, Delia Lombardo of Dallas, Texas, Daniel Polce of McKinney, Texas, Ryan Polce of McKinney, Texas, Dominic Polce of Corte Madera, California, and Everly Polce of Corte Madera, California; great grandchildren, Maren Means, Palmer Ward, Denver Ward, and MacArthur Means; brothers, Pasquale Troia of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Mario Troia (Nancy) of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, and Giulio Troia of Allen ,Texas; and sisters, Giuseppina Santilli of Melbourne, Australia and Bice DelSignore of Yonkers, New York.
Vittoria was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Delio, and her twin brother Carlo Troia.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 8, 2023, at St. Jude Catholic Church, 1515 North Greenville Avenue, Allen, Texas 75002. A rosary service will begin at 1:15 p.m., prior to the funeral service. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
