Mrs. Virginia Faye Perkins, age 82, of Farmers Branch, Texas passed away July 20, 2007, at R.H.D. Memorial Medical Center. She was born July 30, 1924, in McKinney, Texas to Willie A. and Mattie (Jones) Orr. On April 27, 1940, she married Johnnie G. Perkins in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Perkins was an accountant and a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch. Mrs. Perkins is survived by her daughters, Carol Millaway of Farmers Branch and Glenda Ward of Conroe, Texas; grandchildren, Duane Mayo and Teresa Compton and her husband, Lee all of Conroe, Texas, Debbie Murfee of Garland, Texas and Randy Millaway and his wife, Amy of Farmers Branch; 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Johnnie G. Perkins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 23, 2007, at the First Baptist Church, 13017 William Dodson Parkway in Farmers Branch with Rev. Sam Underwood officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends for visitation from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at North Dallas Funeral Home, 2710 Valley View Lane in Dallas.
