Ms. Virginia (Ginny) Cross, beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, age 62, of Plano, Texas, passed away April 6, 2004, at her home. She was born December 8, 1941, to Alfred E. and Virginia (Norton) Cross in Long Island, New York. Ms. Cross retired from ARCO Oil & Gas. She loved snorkeling and birdwatching, and her dog Boomer. She is survived by her sons, Edwin Dunklee of Houston, Texas, and Paul Dunklee and wife, LeaAnn of Tupelo, Mississippi; sisters, Martha Conroy and husband, Rich of Oak Point, Texas, and Nancy Kemether and husband, Bob of Virginia Beach, Virginia; brother, Alfred Cross and wife, Vickie of Long Island, New York and grandson, John David Dunklee. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 9, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
