Violet S. Taylor

Violet S. Taylor of Parker, Texas passed away on November 4, 2019 at the age of 90.  She was born on August 18, 1929 to Thomas Underwood Dudley Rodman and Violet Valeska (Bolin) Rodman in Sparta, Illinois.  Violet married Oral Eugene Taylor on September 5, 1954 in Brownsville, Texas.  She was a Master Instructor and Program Chairman for Texas State Technical College in Harlingen, Texas for 20 years. 

Violet is survived by her daughters, Brenda Hall and husband, Lee of Parker, Texas and Bobbye Costello of Brenham, Texas; grandchildren, Kevin Eastin and wife, Kristen of Leander, Texas, Samuel Hall and wife, Jennifer of Rowlett, Texas, Jensen Hall and wife, Lesley of Princeton, Texas, Laura Hall of Dallas, Texas, Shannon Hall of New York, New York, Van Hall of Dallas, Texas and Grainger Hall of College Station, Texas; great-grandchildren, Gage,  Henderson, Jameson and Mila Hall; brother, Hugh Patrick Rodman of Millington, Tennessee; sister, Valeska June Rodman of Brownsville, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oral Eugene Taylor; her grandson, Taylor Hall; three brothers and four sisters.

A private graveside service will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park with her grandson, Jensen Hall officiating.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Samuel Peyton Hall, Van Elliott Hall, Jensen Thomas Hall, Grainger Lee Hall and Shannon Christine Hall.
