Vilma Allajbeu, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on January 30, 2025, at the age of 38 in Dallas, Texas. Born in Berat, Albania, to Lavdi and Safigje Allajbeu, Vilma’s life sparkled with ambition, warmth, and an endless capacity for joy. She lit up every room she entered, and her playful spirit was a source of inspiration for all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
From a young age, Vilma’s courage and determination were undeniable. At 17, she bravely ventured to the United States as an exchange student, finishing her senior year at Dallas Christian School in Mesquite, Texas. After her time at Richland Community College, she completed a bachelor’s degree in business administration and carved out a stellar career—from high-end retail at Cartier to high-tech software sales at Point of Rental. In every role, Vilma’s genuine kindness and bright smile made coworkers and clients feel truly seen, appreciated, and motivated.
Beyond her professional success, Vilma approached life with infectious energy and boundless curiosity. She treasured her Albanian heritage, routinely visiting family and carrying with her a deep respect for her grandparents’ legacy. Skiing down Beaver Creek’s snowy slopes, dancing with unbridled joy, and running with a runner’s high—these were just a few of the ways she embraced life’s wonder. She also sought out memorable travel adventures, falling in love with Florida’s stunning beaches in Clearwater, Naples, Anna Maria Island, and Delray.
Faith played a pivotal role in Vilma’s journey. Vilma attended Watermark Community Church and lived her beliefs through acts of generosity and compassion. However, nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her beloved nephews, Ethan and Elon, and her niece, Ellie. Whether they were busy playing games, sharing stories, or laughing together, Vilma poured every ounce of her heart into being the world’s most enthusiastic aunt.
She is survived by her devoted parents, Lavdi and Safigje Allajbeu; her sister, Enida Ullman, and her husband Gabriel of Plano, Texas; her sister, Monika Vescovo of Dallas, Texas; her treasured nephews and niece, Ethan, Elon, and Ellie Ullman and numerous relatives in both the United States and Albania. She was preceded in death by her cherished grandparents, Xhemal and Figerete Allajbeu, and Faslli and Bejaze Hazizi.
A joyful celebration of Vilma’s life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas, with a live stream available at https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/vilma-allajbeu.
