Vida Marie Schwede, age 91, of Plano, Texas was called home to Heaven on March 6, 2017. She was born on September 4, 1925 in Deering, North Dakota. On November 27, 1946, Marie married Walter Gustave Schwede in Las Vegas, New Mexico where they made their home and raised their family until Walter’s passing in 1989.
Marie is survived by her three children, Gary Walter Schwede and his wife, Susan; Michael Gustave Schwede and his wife, Roberta; Nancy S. Troncalli and her husband, Michael; two grandchildren, Robin Walter Troncalli and Christopher Michael Troncalli as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N. Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, New Mexico 87501, on Friday, March 17 at 9:45 a.m. with the Reverend Douglass Escue officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. John Lutheran Church, 4760 Preston Road, Suite 244-222, Frisco, TX 75034.
