Victor "Vic" Marshall

Victor “Vic” Marshall, age 82, of Allen, Texas passed away March 6, 2008, in Dallas, Texas. He was born November 6, 1925 in Portales, New Mexico, the son of Victor Hamilton and Belle (Lawrence) Marshall, Sr. He served his country in the United Stated Army during World War II. He lived forty-seven years in New Mexico and Colorado before moving to Texas, where he worked for Kroger grocery store in west Allen. On April 12, 1975, he married Martha Wilson in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Marshall was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Martha; sons, Mike Marshall and his wife, Georgia and Wesley Marshall and his wife, Jennifer; daughters, Kathy Whittiker and Anissa Marshall; step-children, Bill and Andrea Farmer, Randy and Jeri Farmer, Bill and Cheryl Wilson, Robert and Terry Farmer, Dave and Anita Harbin, and Fred and Mary Stratton; brothers, Wayne Marshall and his wife, Irene, Warren Marshall and his wife, Jean, and Harold Cross and his wife, Glenda; twenty-six grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Whitney Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment with military honors will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
