Vicki Lynn Carver

Vicki Lynn Carver, age 43, of Keller, Texas, passed away November 17, 2017. Vicki was born September 7, 1974, in Dallas, Texas, to Hollis R. and Melanie (Hardin) Carver. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be greatly missed. She was close to her three children and made it a point to spend time with them individually. She loved animals, worked in a veterinary practice, and rescued and adopted several beloved cats and dogs. Vicki had a passion for good books, music, and vintage finds. She was kind and accepting of others, had a quick wit and a wide circle of friends. Vicki was a student at Texas Women’s University in Denton, Texas studying business management and sociology.

She is survived by her children, son, Joseph James Urbanski; daughters, Vivienne Simone Urbanski and Veronica Rae Urbanski of Keller, Texas; parents, Hollis and Melanie Carver of Garland, Texas; sisters, Carrie Griffith and husband, Doug of McKinney, Texas, Elizabeth Harden and husband, Justin of Prosper, Texas, and Virginia Carver of Garland, Texas; niece, Savannah Griffith; nephews, Sam and Noah Harden; grandmother, Peggy Hardin of Richardson, Texas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Vicki is also survived by her children’s grandparents, Joe and Patricia Urbanski of Fort Worth, Texas; their daughters, Virginia Urbanski Tarr and husband, Bruce of Copper Mountain, Colorado, Kristina Neiberger and husband, Joe of Lovettsville, Virginia; niece Miranda Urbanski of Copper Mountain, Colorado; and Joe and Patricia’s granddaughters, Chelsea Kasper of Fort Worth, Texas and Lori Lotz of Royce City, Texas. She is preceded in death by Joe and Patricia’s sons, Adam Urbanski and Jay Urbanski, the father of Vicki’s children.

Vicki also shared loving relationships with Jay Urbanski’s family members Sara and Harry Oltmann of Tyler, Texas and Gary Willingham of Shreveport, Louisiana and his sister, Michele Beck of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Vicki had many dear and lifelong friends. To name a very few: Carrie Tilton-Jones, Tegan Nevil, Rachel Burkhalter, Margaret Thompson, Kathleen Thompson, Jeneen Howe, Julie Weston, Melissa Ortiz and Neva Bothager.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.  Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Perrin Memorial Garden in Perrin, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
