Vicki Griffin Robison

Vicki Lee Griffin Robison of Richardson, Texas passed away September 25, 2020 at the age of 66.  She was born on January 4, 1954 to George Edwin Griffin, Jr. and Thelma Louise (Crawford Zuber) Griffin in Dallas, Texas.  Vicki was a proud 1972 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in Dallas, and she earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science in 1979 from Southern Methodist University in Dallas.  She married Mickey Robison on February 27, 1982 in Richardson, Texas.  She was a devoted member of First Christian Church (later United Disciples Christian Church) of Richardson.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 38 years, Mickey Robison of Richardson, Texas; son, Jordan Robison and wife, Lauren of Stanley, North Dakota; daughter, Rachel Emard and husband, Joshua of McKinney, Texas; two grandchildren, Griffin Bryan and Julia Emard; sister, Linda Griffin Hipple and husband F. Steb Hipple of Johnson City, Tennessee; niece Miranda Hipple; niece Meredith and husband Steve Collie (children Sydney and Charlie), nephew Griffin and wife Bethany Hipple (children Jamie and William); brother-in-law, Cecil Thomason; niece Jamie Thomason (children Trinity, Judah, and Violet); and numerous other loving family and friends.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, George and Thelma Griffin and nephew, Andrew Hipple.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Memorial Service.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas, and will also be live streamed on the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Facebook page.  A recorded video will be available following the funeral service on Vicki’s obituary page.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Vicki and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

A remembrance gathering will be held on Wednesday evening, September 30, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.
