Mrs. Vicki Ann Clayton was born on July 14, 1939, in Enid, Oklahoma to the late Alma Maye (Stone) Depew and Thomas Sidney Depew. She departed this life on December 13, 2023, in Celina, Texas.
Vicki worked in accounting jobs most of her life. Her last job was at Otis/Halliburton from 1979 to 2004. She made many friends during that time. She loved listening to music like Elvis and Merle Haggard. Vicki loved watching the Cowboys, Mavericks, and the Texas Rangers.
She met and fell in love with Sid Clayton and they had so many good times boating, camping, and gardening. She had a green thumb when it came to taking care of plants. Vicki loved Christmas and all the decorations she and Sid would put up.
Through the years she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Kvaal, and husband Rick of Sherman, Texas, son, David Hammond, and wife Sandy of Comanche, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Lacy Dupler, and husband Barett, Travis Kvaal, and wife Yolanda, Jake Hammond, Jon Hammond, and Joe Hammond, great-grandchildren, Gavin Dupler, Dax Kvaal, Kirstyn Dupler, and Ricky Kvaal, and numerous other family and friends.
Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Sid Clayton; sister, Judy Schreiber; and her beloved dog, Angel.
The family invites you to a visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas, on Monday, December 18, 2023, from 12:30-1:30. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, Texas.
