Suzanne "Suzi" McClintock

Suzi McClintock of McKinney, Texas passed away July 9, 2018, at the age of 74. She was born January 4, 1944, to John Wesley Atterbury and Mary Ruth (Dungan) Atterbury in McKinney, Texas.  She grew up in McKinney and was a 1962 graduate of McKinney High School.  Suzi worked summers as a teenager at the McKinney Municipal Golf Course where her father was a local pro and ran the pro shop. She later obtained her nursing license and spent most of her career as a nurse, dabbling some in real estate. Suzi married Robert “Bob” McClintock on July 14, 1990 in McKinney. She was a member of the Oaks Baptist Church in McKinney. Suzi never tired of helping others. She was a friend to everyone she met and touched many lives with her selfless nature. Her faith in the Lord, and helping others to know Him, was an inspiration to many.

Suzi is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” McClintock of McKinney, TX; daughter, Joanna Brewer Castle and husband Bill of Blue Ridge, TX; stepdaughters, Pamela Ray and husband Stuart of Conroe, TX; Kelly Lane of Forney, TX; Heather Scruggs of McKinney, TX; stepson, Chris McClintock and wife Jackie of Princeton, TX; grandchildren, Tara Castle of Ft. Worth, TX; Tessa Castle of McKinney, TX; Tayla Castle of Princeton, TX; Christopher McClintock of Brighton, CO;  Ryan Ray of The Woodlands, TX; Robbie Ray of The Woodlands, TX; Taylor Ray of Conroe, TX; Madalyn Lane of Forney, TX; Macey Prince of Waco, TX and Mary Parker Scruggs of Orlando, FL; four great grandchildren; a sister, Arnetta Ledbetter of Frisco, TX and brother, Eustace G. Atterbury of McKinney, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jackie Atterbury; her daughter, Suzanne Price Jones; and stepson, Robert Bruce McClintock, Jr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
