Vanny Tan was born on November 16, 1956, in Cambodia, to Kheng Tay Tan and Heang Suy Lim. She lived a life marked by dedication to her family and a strong work ethic, qualities that defined her both personally and professionally.
Vanny spent her career as a hairstylist, a profession through which she not only practiced her craft but also connected with and cared for others. Her work reflected her patience, creativity, and commitment, and she took pride in serving her community through her profession.
She is survived by her two beloved daughters, Ilene Mohn and Erica Mohn. She also leaves behind her siblings: Sofia Tan, Daravuth Tan, Vyro Tan, Daravong Tan, Rany McGovern, Ratha Tan, and Rath Tan, along with many loving nephews, nieces, and extended family members who will cherish her memory.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, located at 2525 Central Expressway N, Allen, Texas 75013.
Vanny Tan will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her quiet strength, and the lasting impact she made on those who knew and loved her.
