Vanna LaVerne Alexander, age 86, of Frisco, Texas passed away on February 10, 2020 in McKinney, Texas. She was born on February 19, 1933 in Louden, Tennessee to Margaret Beagles and Wilford Harper. On November 19, 1949, Vanna married John Floyd Alexander, Jr. in South Carolina.
Vanna is survived by her daughter, Angela Alexander of Frisco, Texas; her son, Joe Alexander of McKinney, Texas; her two grandsons, Jeremy Smith and Kyle Alexander; her two great-grandsons, Dane Smith and Colton Alexander; her great-granddaughter, Lila Alexander.
Vanna was preceded in death by her husband, John Floyd Alexander, Jr.; son, Johnny “Dale” Alexander; two grandsons, John H. Smith and Jacob Alexander; and parents, Margaret and Wilford Harper; her two sisters, Lou Malone and Betty Beheter; and her brother, Sam Harper.
Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service on Saturday, Fenruary 22, 2020 at Lynch Cemetery in East Tawakoni, Texas beginning at 2:00 PM.
