She was a quiet woman but very sweet/kind and always willing to help you in anyway she could. We always managed to run into each other passing in the hallways and she was always friendly. Chris Craig, January 24, 2017 Mike, Dustin, Casey, Erin and the rest of Val's family my condolences go out to you all. Not only was Valerie my best bud, but she was like a sister to me. Val and I would call each other after work as we both had long drives home. I last spoke to Val last Monday and we were laughing about dumb stuff as we always did, discussing our weekends, and of course talking about our Cowboys. I am so going to miss talking to her and laughing but she will always be in my heart. She was a great person inside and out and she always had a smile on her face no matter what. As soon as Val walked into a room that is the first thing you would see is her big ole smile. So many great things to say about my friend but those of you who knew her already know all these great things. You will be greatly missed my friend(and Golden Girl) but never forgotten. Friends reach for your hand but touch your Heart Jo Ann G , January 24, 2017 Valerie and I were married for 23 years. She was the love of my life. Although the last 4 years were spent apart, I never stopped loving her. I never will. May she rest in God's arms until the day that I can join her. I will love you forever Valerie.......
Michael Barnhardt, January 24, 2017 I had the most wonderful opportunity of meeting Valerie and working with her at Rexel. She came in early, and I do, too. We talked and laughed about our puppies, and shared many pictures. Her puppy's name was Bob, and my puppy's name is Boston. Although Boston is 9 years old, I still call him my puppy, my baby. My husband's name is Bob, and sometimes I had to remember when she talked about Bob, she was talking about her puppy. We laughed and often asked "What About Bob?" She came and spent an afternoon with us at Jimmy Buffet Frisco this past May, and she also came to my birthday celebration this past July. She was always much fun. At the office, I sit by the back elevator, and every day as she left, I told her "Bye Valerie, see you tomorrow." She said, "Yes, I'll see you tomorrow." She always had a smile on her face, and was such a joy to work with. I will miss her tremendously. I already do.
Brenda Willis, January 24, 2017 My condolences to the family!
Brenda Hall, January 23, 2017 Valerie was such a special part of our "team" here at the office. Every morning we would talk and then get on with our day. She was a shining light and would always be willing to help in anyway needed. She will be missed so much. Rosalie Bernhagen, January 23, 2017
