Tyler Stuart Cole

Tyler Stuart Cole of Dallas, Texas passed away on September 24, 2021 at the age of 33.  He was born on July 31, 1988 to Bruce Douglas and Victoria Anne (Stuart) Cole near Toronto, Ontario where he spent the first seven years of his life. Tyler then lived six years in Gainesville, Florida before moving to the Dallas area. 

In 2006, he graduated from Canyon Creek Christian Academy in Richardson.  Tyler went on to graduate with a degree in management information systems in 2010 from the University of Texas at Dallas.  He began his career at Sugar Technology International in Plano.  

Tyler had a great passion for music. From playing his guitars to amassing an extensive collection of vinyl records, he deeply enjoyed the art and sharing it with friends and family.  Tyler cherished spending time with his friends, loved pets and appreciated the outdoors. In his adolescence, he rode dirt bikes and frequented tracks and trails across Texas and Colorado with family. Tyler also enjoyed hiking. Recently, he hiked a portion of the Appalachian trail, with dreams of one day completing the trail in its entirety.

Tyler is survived by his parents, Bruce and Vicki Cole of Richardson, Texas; brother, Trevor Cole of Plano, Texas; grandmother, Mavis Stuart of Markham, Ontario; uncle and aunt, David and Dene Stuart of Aurora, Ontario; uncle and aunt, Larry and Erica Cole of Pueblo, Colorado; and Stuart family cousins, Amy and Carly; and Cole family cousins, Jeremy, Laura, Kevin, Matthew and Michael.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Dina Cole, and Victor Stuart.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2021 at Waterbrook Bible Fellowship, 507 Thomas Street, Wylie, Texas 75098.  The family will receive family and friends during a visitation beginning at 12:00 noon at the church.  Waterbrook Bible Fellowship will stream the service for those unable to attend at the following link:  https://youtu.be/VuJXufQB5z4.

Tyler will be interred at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen during a private family service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Tyler’s honor to House of Hope, La Pointe, Haiti.
