Kristin Alexandra Egan, October 14, 2005 We were so saddened when we heard about Tyler. There are no words to give you comfort, but I hope just knowing you are being lifted in prayer and loved will help. Just think of the wonderful gift Tyler has been and how blessed you were to be his parents. He certainly touched many lives and will continue to do so. Our hearts ache for you and we continue to pray for all your family. Kathie and Tom Kathleen and Tom Mahaffey, May 10, 2004 My best friend died last year in a car accident. She was only 18. I know some of the pain Tyler's young friends are about to endure. Please be sure, those of you who can, that you are in tune with those young people. Don't let them become lost from all this. I know from reading the messages here that Tyler was an outstanding Christian, as was my friend, Rachel. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I wish I knew why these things happened... I do know that God is faithful and that he will be again. Elizabeth M S, May 3, 2004 Dear Kurt and Laura, You may not remember us - we sang with you in the choir at Grace for a while in Austin. We were so so saddened to hear of your great loss. Please know that you and your family will be in our hearts and our prayers and that you will feel the compassion and mercy of our great God in your loss. jan and jared jared and jan stallones, May 2, 2004 I didn't really know Tyler but I just wanted to say to the family that I am so sorry for your loss and God bless you in this time of need. Rocio Valdez, May 1, 2004 Laura, Kurt,Hunter, and Adam, It has been many years since we were all at Grace, but your precious Christmas picture has always held it's place in our "gallery of friends" in our home, and we have thought of you so fondly so many times over the years since you moved away. Our hearts kept up with you through many moves that took you where you are today. Having gone through this tragic turn of events in my own sisters family, I have a sense of what you are thinking and feeling today. And yet, I know that your thoughts are grounded in the truth of scripture. That doesn't remove your pain but it does preserve and strengthen your Hope of the future. Our hearts are broken for you. Our prayers are constant for you all. How grateful we are for the assurance of Tyler in the Lord's presence and the presence of our Saviour in your home and in your hearts. May His Love bind you together and see you through this day and the days to come. Our Sincere Sympathy and Love, Bill and Judy Moore Judy andBill Moore, April 28, 2004 I am only one of the inumerable people Tyler touched. He and Chris were in Visual Media class together, where we had a chance to settle in and finish our school day. I want you to know Tyler behaved like we as parents always hope our sons and daughters behave when we are not around! He seemed to contain a quiet strength that we appreciated-especially some of the underclassmen who were often treated a little unkindly by the older bunch! He often spoke of his family, his church, and his beliefs. I recall his comments on Saddam Hussein and the inhumanity his reign had exhibited. His classmates and I will remember his ready smile, his twinkling eyes, and his gracious attitude toward others. Then we will sigh and remember our lives are all the richer for having been in his presence. You have our appreciation for the young man you encouraged Tyler to be, and our deepest sympathy at his loss. Our family has been able to think of little else since hearing of Tyler's passing, and we are asking God day and night to come to your aid. We are also asking our church family to intercede for all of you. We thank God for the brief yet powerful and full life of your beautiful, beloved son. You are deeply loved, and will be carried passionately and often to the throne of mercy over the coming days, weeks, months and beyond. Laura and John Harris, April 26, 2004 Tyler was the nicest person I ever met... I still remember the first time he introduced himself to me at my house 3 doors down from his own 3 and 1/2 years ago... he was a cool kid and nice to be around... We will all miss him and I pray for your family Jason Christopher Walton, April 26, 2004 God is a sovreign God, and we know that for the believer, to be absent in the body is to present with the Lord. Kurt, Laura, Hunter and Adam, our prayer for your family is that you'll find comfort in the "truths" found in the word of God. The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace. Ps.29:11 Paul and Karlyn Mann, April 26, 2004 Tyler was the type of person you just had to love. He had such a welcoming smile, that you couldn't pass up. He was like the first person I met when I moved to McKinney. He was a very close and dear friend. He always offered advice. The thing I remember the most and something that I'll treasure for a lifetime was when his family invited my family for ThanksGiving dinner. Gosh I'll never forget how welcoming the "Davis" family were and still are. To the "Davis Family"... Tyler is in a MUCH better place, and he's watching over us w/our Heavenly Father. May God bless you all in this time of loss! Love always! *Brittany Mann & Family* Brittany Michele Mann, April 26, 2004 We are so sorry to hear of Tyler's death and will keep you in our prayers. May God give you a depth of understanding and trust in Him that goes beyond all comprehension. We put "Safe with Jesus" on our son David's gravestone, and that is certainly true for Tyler also. We love you guys. Patsy and Shannon Tucker, April 26, 2004 We will always remeber Tyler's smile and gentle ways. Our son, Rory, viewed Tyler as one of his best friends, part of the "crew". Our middle son, Riley, has many happy and funny memories of time spent with Tyler. And our youngest son, Ramey, will miss the special wave that he and Tyler shared. He touched all our lives is such a special way. We all love Tyler and will keep him in our hearts. Tom & Barbara Sullivan, April 26, 2004 Words can't express how sad my family was to hear of your families great loss. It seems like just yesterday the kids were all playing outside. Tyler had a very welcoming smile and personality. Hoping that you will feel God close to you today and that you will draw strength as you trust in His unfailing love and in His never-ending comfort. May the many prayers of those who care help in some small way to comfort you throughout this time. Cherie Werner, April 26, 2004 Davis Family--Our hearts ache for your loss. May God provide comfort for you at this time. You are in our prayers. Jason & Heather Rice, April 26, 2004
