Trudi Heather Pevehouse, age 44, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on May 18, 2016 after a battle with breast cancer. She was born January 19, 1972 in Mansfield, Ohio to Mel L. McGyver and Linda Sue (Hill) Belavitch. She was a member of Elevate Life Church in Frisco, Texas.
Trudi graduated from Plano East High School, and still maintained close friendships with many of her classmates. She was a loving, devoted mother to her two boys, and was involved in their school and outside activities. Prior to moving to Frisco, she lived in Little Elm, Texas and was a member of CrossRidge Church there. She was active in several cancer survivor groups and was an advocate against child abuse.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Belavitch and husband Robert of Hilton, New York; father, Mel McGyver and wife Linda Samuel of Dallas, Texas; sons, Dalton Lynn Pevehouse and Tyler Cecil Pevehouse; sister, Rhonda Jaubert and husband Phillip of McKinney, Texas; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday afternoon at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 5801 W. Plano Parkway, Plano, Texas, with a reception immediatly following in Pirot Hall. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held Tuesday evening, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
