IN LOVING MEMORY

Trisha Jean Martinez

Jun 28 1978 - May 18 2019

On Saturday May 18, 2019 at 5:25 a.m., our Heavenly Father gave the strongest loving soul her angel wings. Trisha Jean Fagan Martinez was born on June 28, 1978 to her parents Ron Fagan and Glenda Fagan in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Her father, Ron Fagan, served in the United States Army from June 1975 to June 1978 in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Trisha lived a blissful 40 years enjoying numerous hobbies such as watching her favorite television shows, dancing, sing karaoke, going to the casino, playing bingo, painting, couponing and garage selling; but most of all being a Bobcat and soccer mom. Anyone who came across her knew of her extraordinary talents: making tamales, doing taxes, party planning, drawing, taking care of others, moving mountains and being the #1 New York Giants fan. She was a very outspoken, hardworking, devoted wife, mother, sister and daughter who will be greatly missed. Trisha was the rock and soul of everyone that loved her dearly. There will not be a day that goes by that she will not be missed. She was a fighter who never gave up, if she was here today she would say “Don’t cry, wipe your tears, I’m ok”.  Trisha is in paradise up above smiling and watching over us. Rest in peace our Angel, we all love you and will see you again.

Trisha is survived by her husband of 21 years, Ruben Cantu Martinez; their six boys, Jordan Hargrow 24, Nathaniel Martinez 23, Andrew Martinez 18, Isaiah Martinez 16, Elijah Martinez 15, and Ruben Jr Martinez 13; five siblings, Michael Fagan, Natasha Fagan, Mindy Martinez, Melissa Martinez and Samantha Villarreal; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Fagan and sister-in-law, Cynthia Martinez.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at First Baptist Church-Celina, 841 North Preston Road, Celina, Texas.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church.
