Trevor Bryan McDearmon of Princeton, Texas passed away July 30, 2025, at the age of 27. Trevor was born on November 26, 1997, in Plano, Texas, to Michael S. McDearmon and Jenny Atkins Vickrey.
Trevor graduated from Wylie East High School in 2016. During his time in high school, he was actively involved in the ROTC program, where he built discipline, leadership, and a deep sense of service—qualities he carried with him throughout his life.
Trevor had an easygoing spirit and a heart full of love for life’s simple joys. He was happiest near the water with a fishing rod in hand, and he rarely missed a game when it came to his favorite North Texas teams—the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, and Texas Rangers. His pride in his Texas roots ran deep, and he wore it with honor.
Above all, Trevor’s greatest joy and deepest source of pride were his two beloved daughters. Being their father gave his life purpose and made him smile in ways nothing else could. He was a loving and hardworking dad who did everything he could to provide for and uplift his children.
Trevor will be remembered for his respectful nature, strong work ethic, and generous heart. He had big dreams for the future and never hesitated to offer a helping hand to those in need. His presence brought warmth to every room, and his loss leaves a deep void in the hearts of all who knew him.
He is survived by his daughters, Gabriella and Artemis McDearmon of Edgewood, New Mexico; father, Michael McDearmon of Richardson, Texas; mother, Jenny Atkins of McKinney, Texas; sister, Tara McDearmon of Wylie, Texas; brother, Logan Atkins of Rockwall, Texas; grandparents, Ronnie and Janie Donihoo of McKinney, Texas; great grand mother, Doris McDearmon of McKinney, Texas; uncle, Ron McDearmon of Dallas, Texas; and a host of other loving family and friends.
Trevor was preceded in death by grandparents, Kathy and Don McDearmon and uncle, Preston McDearmon.
