Travis Ann (Webb) Dorough, 77, of Parker, Texas went home to be with the Lord on January 24, 2021. She was born on April 22, 1943 to Travis Seely Webb and Marguerite (Hodgskins) Webb in Teague, Texas. Travis Ann graduated from Teague High School in 1961 and then attended North Texas State University. Through the years, she worked for numerous insurance companies as an administrative assistant. Travis Ann married Jerry William Dorough on December 27, 1969 in Teague, Texas. She loved making greeting cards, crafting, playing Bunco and Mexican Train with her friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Travis Ann was an active member of the Allen Heights Baptist Church where she served in the children’s department.

Travis Ann is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry William Dorough of Parker, Texas; daughter, Lei Ann Stovall and husband, Jon; grandchildren, Ainslee Stovall and Collier Stovall; sisters, Martha Cook and husband, Jerry of Ennis, Texas and Mary Lee and husband, Don of Teague, Texas; sister-in-law, Karrie Erwin and husband, Bill of Emory, Texas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Marguerite Webb.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Allen Heights Baptist Church, 1309 East Main Street, Allen, Texas 75002. In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of 140 guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

Following the funeral service, a private family committal service will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park.
